We're finally getting married
Saturday, April 29 in Denver!

Weather aside, it should be a great weekend.  One of our favorite things is all day Sunday brunch at our warehouse in San Francisco.  We love having everyone over to just eat, drink, and hang all day.  Sometimes it turns into dinner!  So we tried to replicate that on Saturday with a mid-morning ceremony followed by just hanging out with tons of delicious drinks, brunch foods, and then lunch foods.  We even found an industrial venue in Denver's upcoming RiNo art district to make all you fans of our warehouse feel right at home.

We had to get some proper cocktails in on Friday for James, and some dive bar beer and shuffleboard for Sam on Saturday night.  Plus billiards at the Wynkoop Brewery was one of James's favorite destinations when playing hooky from high school.

On Sunday morning, swing by any time for some bagels, Bloody Mary's, and mimosas, and just hang again until it's time to hop on the train to the airport.

We're really looking forward to seeing you all.

      Transportation

All of our venues are in or near downtown Denver, walkable or very short cab/uber rides from the above hotels.  Downtown also has plenty of food and entertainment within a few blocks walking distance of the hotels.  We recommend skipping the rental car and just using Uber for the weekend.

      Light Rail

Ride Denver's shiny new Light Rail directly from the airport to downtown Denver.  Trains leave every 15 minutes.  The ride takes 37 minutes, costs $9, and is not subject to traffic.

The last stop is at Union Station, where the Crawford Hotel is located.  If you're staying at the Hotel Teatro, you can ride to Union Station then walk 8 blocks or take a 2 minute cab/uber with your luggage.  There are often cabs waiting out front.

      Uber

Uber is very easy to use in Denver.  They have a large presence and you can usually get an Uber X or Uber Black within several minutes at the airport and in the downtown areas.

Uber X from the airport to downtown is around $35.

      Frequently Asked Questions

      • Are you registered somewhere for gifts?
        • Please, no gifts.  Trekking to Denver on zero notice is more than enough!
      • Will you be sad if we can't make it?
        • NO!  Please don't feel obligated.  We really really truly won't mind – we gave everyone two weeks notice so we aren't expecting most to be able to make it.  We plan to have a big celebration next year (with a lot more notice), so please don't stress.
      • Should we bring the kids?
        • Completely up to you.  We are 100% kid-friendly.  We will also not be offended if you use us as an excuse to ditch the kids and party/relax for the weekend.  You can even tell them they weren't invited – we'll back you up!
      • What's the dress?
        • Smart casual for Friday evening
          • For ladies: a casual dress or nice jeans with a blouse
          • For gents:  nice jeans or slacks with a polo, collared shirt, or sweater
        • Day time cocktail for the ceremony and reception
          • The forecast is now calling for several inches of snow on Saturday, with a high of 40°!  Please bring warm layers!
          • For ladies:  a cocktail dress, a long flowy dress, or dressy separates; don't forget a shawl or jacket
          • For gents:  a sport coat with tie, sport coat without tie, or even a suit, all are fine
      • Is this a shotgun wedding?
        • Nope, we decided to do this right now because we think it's the best timing for our immediate family, and we're excited about just making it happen!
